When I first picked up a camera eight years ago, I truly had no idea what I was doing. I shot in JPEG for the first year, managed bookings through Instagram DMs, and kept track of everything on a paper calendar. I was intimidated to ask questions and worried people would gatekeep the information I needed. Looking back, I wish I had a space where nothing felt embarrassing to ask and no question was too small.
